This is a 'Chobi', which means ‘wood’ in Persian and refers to the wood tones present in this style. This type of carpet has also been known in Europe since the 19th and 20th centuries under the term 'Ziegler'. A characteristic feature is the use of many patterns in the form of flowers and plants.
