This is a 'Chobi', which means ‘wood’ in Persian and refers to the wood tones present in this style. This type of carpet has also been known in Europe since the 19th and 20th centuries under the term 'Ziegler'. It is characterized by the use of many patterns in the form of flowers and plants. There is a bright central area and a more neutral outer border.
This carpet has a traditional and luxurious character due to the dark blue, almost black color on a pastel-colored background. It is as if you are seeing the night by moonlight.
